Our
controls programming, development and build team provides the expertise
necessary to provide the solutions for the most demanding requirements
of our customers. This includes the ability for our custom devices and
our systems to interface with your existing hardware and software. Data
gathering and management reporting may be an option built into any of
our controls systems.
When you request a special device or system proposal from IHS, we begin
the process by putting together a “skeleton” of what the software
and hardware would be. In many cases this requires a draft copy sequence
of operations for the controls engineers to use in preparing the estimate.
We paper simulate the operation of the device or system to assure we have
the controls devices needed for proper operation and to fit the application.
Panel sizes, number and function are considered so our proposal is more
science than guess. We include this preliminary sequence with every proposal
we send out.
When you place your order for the device or system, we then refine the
“draft” copy of the sequence into a detailed, device-to-device
mode of operation document. This assures we have every movement and operator
interface function covered. This document is reviewed with you until we
have an agreed upon “sequence of operations” detailing exactly
how the device or system will work. This document is our one and only
source for the layout, panel build, hardware ordering and software development. |
